  3. Where · the third cut Brenton’s place Parkhurst, Johannesburg. Follow the jack-o’-lanterns down the side of the house and knock twice.
  4. Bring · the fourth cut A carved pumpkin or a bottle Pumpkins go on the wall for the carving contest. Bottles go in the cauldron.
  5. Wear · the last cut A costume. Compulsory. There’s a prize for the best one at 21:00. Spooky, silly or both.

Brenton’s Halloween Bash

One night a year the street gets spooky, and this year the haunted house is ours. Carve a pumpkin, sip something green, and come as something nobody will recognise.

  • Spooky cocktails from the cauldron (and witches’ brew without the spirits)
  • A haunted garden. Bring a friend you can hide behind.
  • The costume parade at 21:00, with a prize for the best
  • Toffee apples and a fire pit for the stayers
